Devite is a digital invitation app that makes it easy to manage your events. You can send invitations via SMS or WhatsApp and track who received them and who confirmed attendance through the responses page in the app.

It’s best to send invitations 3–5 days before the event. This gives your guests time to confirm and plan it into their weekly schedule.

  • Using the link in the invitation, guests can add the event directly to their calendar.

Yes. For example, if you invite a couple, you can send one invitation under both their names. When responding, they can indicate how many people will attend.

Invitations are delivered exactly at the date and time you set, with only a rare chance of a short delay of a few minutes.

Contact us immediately on WhatsApp, and we’ll resend the invitations free of charge to any contacts who didn’t receive them.

You choose the method – SMS or WhatsApp – and the system sends it accordingly.

Generally, we recommend sending invitations Monday to Thursday between 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM. If you choose other times or days, it’s the user’s responsibility to make sure it’s appropriate and complies with local laws.

It shows how many people are attending with that guest. Example: “Amir – 2” means Amir will come with one more person.

Guests are free to reply or not. We don’t force anyone to answer, nor do we contact them directly if they don’t respond. If you don’t receive enough replies (e.g., less than 70%), you can send a reminder.

From the responses page, you can download the full guest list along with their answers.

  • By clicking “Preview Template” on the campaign page, you can see exactly what the link will look like – including the invitation image, location, and details you’ve entered.
  • While creating or updating a template, you’ll also see a preview at the bottom showing how the message will appear to your guests.

No worries! You can reach out to us through our support channels and our team will help design your invitation. Plus, our built-in design tool will soon be available for everyone to use directly in the app.

  • You can cancel sending invitations to all guests, or to a specific group of them, up to 48 hours before the scheduled send time. Just contact us via WhatsApp or email.
  • Refunds are processed within 14 business days to the same card used for payment, and only for the canceled numbers.

Yes, you can update any details before the scheduled send time. Once invitations are sent, no further changes can be made. To avoid issues, we recommend not making last-minute edits on the same day the invitation is scheduled to go out.

Yes. All your data is permanently removed from our database within 14 days. You’ll also receive a confirmation once deletion is complete. The deleted data includes:
  • Your campaigns
  • Campaign details
  • Uploaded images
  • Your personal information
  • Guest details
  • Sent invitations
  • Written texts
Once deleted, the data cannot be recovered in any way.

From your profile page, tap the user icon in the top right corner to open account settings and update your phone number.

Yes, the app fully supports both Android and iOS. You can download it directly from Google Play or the App Store.

No. Once deleted, campaigns and their details are permanently removed from our database. Please be careful before deleting anything.

No. None of your data is used for any other purpose. Only you, as the account owner, have access to it.

Note: If your invitation design was created by our team, we reserve the right to use that design only for marketing purposes, such as showcasing our work.

We take your privacy seriously and use advanced security systems along with international standards to safeguard your data. All information is processed and stored securely in encrypted form, and it is never shared with third parties without your consent.

When using WhatsApp (Meta) or SMS (Twilio) for delivery, your messages are routed through their servers as they are the official service providers – this is normal and required to send your invitations. Beyond that, no data is shared with anyone else.

All operations comply with global data protection regulations (GDPR) as well as local laws.

No, the invitation is delivered as a message with a link. Guests don’t need to download the app to open it.

Currently, invitations can only be sent via SMS or WhatsApp. We’re exploring the option of adding other channels, such as email, in the future.

Yes, through the invitation link, guests can add the event directly to their calendar. When they click the link, an ICS file (a universal format) is downloaded. Opening it adds the event automatically to Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, Outlook, or any other calendar app. If the account is linked to the same email (e.g., Gmail), the event will sync automatically across all devices.

No, there’s no limit. You can send as many invitations as you’d like in each campaign.

  • Import from contacts: Add names and numbers directly from your phone’s address book.
  • Import from Excel: Upload an Excel file organized according to the template provided in the app to add a full list at once.
  • Manual entry: Enter each guest’s name and phone number manually inside the app.

Yes, you can create a separate campaign for each event and manage them independently with no overlap.

Payments are processed securely via PayPal, one of the most trusted global payment platforms. You can pay using:
  • Credit / Debit card through PayPal.
  • Your PayPal account directly.

Yes, when creating your campaign you can set the exact date and time you’d like the messages to be delivered. Invitations will be sent automatically at the scheduled time.

You can delete any old campaign directly from the campaign management page. Please note – once deleted, all campaign data is permanently removed and cannot be restored.

You only pay for the services you use – there are no monthly subscriptions or prepaid credits.
  • Sending invitations: Payment is based on the number of contacts you choose to send the invitation to.
  • Custom design: If you request a special design from our team, it will be charged separately.
  • Printed invitations: You can order printed invitations starting from 100 copies minimum, with separate pricing plus delivery fees.

No, your payment details are never stored. The app does not keep any card or account information – all transactions are handled securely through PayPal.

Absolutely! You can order high-quality printed invitations, and we’ll deliver them right to the address you choose.

Once your design is approved and payment is confirmed, printing usually takes about 3 to 5 business days.

Yes! You’ll always get the chance to review and approve the final design before it goes to print. Nothing gets printed without your confirmation.
